About

Friends

Met someone fun at the table? Send them a friend request and they'll show up in your own ratings-sorted crew, right there in the game lobby every time you sit down to play. No more losing track of who you want to play with next.

Chat & Calls

Every lobby and table has real-time chat built right in - swap strategy, plan your next move, or just say hello. Emoji reactions let you fire one off mid-match without breaking your focus, and when text isn't enough, you can jump straight into a voice or video call with whoever you're playing against.

Forums

The Forums are where the bigger conversations happen, organized into categories, topics and posts - dig into strategy, share screenshots, or just hang out with other regulars.

Requests

Got an idea for a new game or feature? The Requests page is where players pitch what they want to see next, and plenty of what's live on FunNode today started out exactly that way.

News

Curious what's changed recently? The News page rounds up headlines plus a full changelog, so you can see exactly what shipped - a new game, a bug fix, or a brand-new feature.

Countries

FunNode's players come from all over the map. The Countries page breaks down exactly where everyone is playing from, so you can see just how global your next opponent might be.

Games

Choose from 26 games spanning four categories - board, card, dice and word - and jump straight in. Play as a guest with zero setup, no download and no account required, or sign up to unlock everything else on this page.

Ratings

Every match you play quietly feeds a skill rating behind the scenes, shown to you as a familiar Elo-style number starting around 1000, along with a certainty percentage so a brand-new rating is honestly marked as provisional rather than pretending to be settled. It works just as well in multiplayer and team matches as it does head-to-head - and if anyone at the table is a guest, that match is skipped for rating purposes entirely, though registered players still walk away with XP either way.

Leaderboards

Every game tracks four separate leaderboards - level (XP), rating, tokens, and a dedicated ranked ladder - so there's always another way to climb, no matter what you're chasing.

Tournaments

Tournaments run automatically for every game, in round robin or Swiss format. Buy in with FN tokens, and once enough players have signed up, the bracket kicks off on its own - no waiting around for someone else to organize it. Matches and Standings tabs, complete with medal icons, keep everyone honest about who's actually winning, and when it's all over the top two finishers split the pot.

FN Tokens

FN tokens are FunNode's in-platform currency - free to earn with a daily spin of the wheel, or by winning a token-wagered match. Spend them however you like: stake a table for some extra stakes on a regular match, or buy into a tournament for a shot at a bigger payout.

Themes

Pick from 5 full site themes - Joy, Carbon, Bubble Gum, Ocean and Smoke - each one changing the entire look and feel of FunNode in a click.

Highlight Colors

Layer on one of 3 highlight colors to accent links, buttons and headers, so your theme feels a little more like you.

Fonts

Swap between 4 fonts - Mali, Atma, Patrick Hand and Ubuntu - to change the personality of the text across the whole site.

Emoji

Choose between 2 emoji styles, King and Queen, both themed around the site's chess-piece iconography.

All of it lives in the Settings menu up top, and whatever you pick is remembered for a year - no account required.

Pricing

A FunNode subscription costs $5.00 a month or $50.00 a year, billed securely through Stripe - cancel any time.

Founder, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Ravi Patel avatar

What started as a hobby-project in 2012 has now become a game hub for thousands of players and a tax-paying company for the government. While I was the only developer on FunNode for 5+ years, I came across many helpful people on IRC and online blogs/forums who were willing to take some time to share their thoughts and opinions on my questions and concerns. FunNode players have also been very supportive, providing ample feedback and suggestions to improve the website.

To everyone who has helped and played a role in the success of FunNode, Thank You.
