"Rummy" is similar to "Canasta", and "Conquian".
Rummy is a matching-card game notable for similar gameplay based on matching cards of (1) the same rank, or (2) sequence and same suit. The basic goal is to build sets of three or four of a kind of the same rank; or runs, three or more cards in sequence, of the same suit.
Each player first receives a certain number of cards from a standard deck of 52 cards. The un-dealt cards are placed in a face-down stack in the middle. A single card is turned face up next to the face-down stack where players discard cards, and this is known as the discard pile.
Players take turns adding to and discarding cards from their hands while making sets. A set consists of at least three cards of the same rank, for example 5♥ 5♦ 5♠ or A♥ A♦ A♠ A♣. A run consists of at least three consecutive cards of the same suit J♣ Q♣ K♣ or 4♥ 5♥ 6♥ 7♥.
After a player discards a card and has 0 cards in their hand, they or all players score their hand. With the 5-10-15 pts scoring, number cards (except 10) will score 5 points, royal cards (J, Q, K) and 10 will score 10 points, and Aces will score 15 points.
