Could you put a visual highlight of who the winner is when the cards are still shown? Maybe a bright red/accent box around the winning hand of the opponents when I lose. Maybe it can be as simple as applying a CSS change to the correct DIV children of #opp_hands. Often I look only at the hand of the wrong player, then see the result announced by the server on the next screen, and it is a bit frustrating.
