Personally I find the ending of the games a little weird here. There are no territories marked or anything. Maybe a message like 'GnuGo resigned' would be nice aswell, before you are led to the review menu. It just ends very quickly and in my first few games I didn't even realize what had happened.

I should mention that (I think) all of my games so far ended in one side resigning, so maybe it's different otherwise.

The moves table will show 'resign' if someone does so. The territory scoring is provided in the last row of the moves table where it says, "godzilla (+27.9) Wins with score +47.7". If you have suggestions for improving the end-match transition, please do let me know :)

Yes, it's in the moves table. I mean, in the first few games I wasn't sure what happened but I think that's ok like that. What I miss is the territories and dead stones being marked at the end of the game. Of course I have no idea how hard or easy that is to implement.

Yah, I've been wanting to show the territories and dead stones at the end of the game but it's not easy. I was hoping either gnugo or fuego had it built-in, but I don't think they do. I'll look into it though. Thanks.

You're welcome. ;) Adding to this topic I got one more question and a suggestion aswell.
What exactly does the score mean, when the opponent resigns: "godzilla (+28.0) Wins with score +109.1: -AI-GNUGo-10 (-24.3) Loses" ...

...
I don't think I have seen this before (on other sites), to have a score when one party resigns. How is that score determined / estimated?

The suggestion: again I don't know how much of a programming effort that would be (maybe that's more of a longterm idea), but it would be nice if you could export an .sgf-file of your finished matches.

Btw: some more characters per post would be nice ;)

GNUGo is used to calculate the score (Chinese/Japanese) based on the selected setting. Normally, resignations won't show scoring. However, as requested by some players, if an AI resigns, the score will be calculated.

For "godzilla (+28.0) Wins with score +109.1: -AI-GNUGo-10 (-24.3) Loses", the +28 and -24.3 are the elo rating changes for each player. The +109.1 is the score differential for that game. So, godzilla won by a score of +109.1 and improved his rating by +28.

I definitely need to increase the max characters :P I'll work on it this weekend.

Yes, I get that. The question is, why 109.1? Gnugo resigned...

Ah sorry, didn't see your first reply. Forget the post above. :)
